In Vietnam, Khaya is cultivated in the Central Highlands, where it adapts well to the tropical climate. This makes Khaya a sustainable and renewable wood source that is officially managed and permitted for use. Khaya charcoal is made from the dense trunks of large, full-grown Khaya trees, which are known for their strong and high-quality hardwood. The charcoal it produces is hard, durable and long-lasting, with little smoke and minimal ash content, making it ideal for barbecues and professional grilling.
